Dear brother/sister,
This little disk is a present from your Muslim friends who like for you what they like for themselves. In fact, there is so much misconception about Islam in the society that we feel an urgent need to introduce Islam (as it is), from authentic sources, to our friends. And this is ordained to us by ALLAH Almighty in the Qur'aan:
Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the ways that are best and most gracious. Lo! your Lord is Best Aware of him who strays from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go aright.[16:125]
Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say you: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will)."[3:64]
That's what we repeat: come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah.
And these common terms are dealt in great detail in the folder "Similarities Between Hinduism and islam". Similarly, a sincere effort is made to present the various truths of this life and the hereafter; of the seen and the unseen; of the CREATOR and the creation, etc. in other folders. Some of the stuff are very intresting (we hope) while some might be boring, but it's my humble request to go through all the contents (including the boring ones like the texts) thoroughly lest you may miss something of the truest facts ever encountered in your life. Please..., my friend, please do a favour to you (you might wonder what favour is being talked about, but you'll realize it soon inshaALLAH) if you are really a seeker of truth.
Well, you might be thinking, "Why should I bother about these things(viz. religion, spirituality, life after death, etc.)? Afterall, I am not a student of theology! If it is so, then pause for a moment and ponder over the following verse:
(O mankind), follow not that whereof you have no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart - of each of these it will be asked.[17:36]
These faculties of sight, hearing and understanding ('heart' is used metaphorically to describe the depth of understanding that includes the voice of the conscience) differentiate us from the rest of the animal kingdom. So, it is our duty to make use of these faculties. Otherwise we won't be doing justice with our exalted status as human beings. And finally, we will be held accountable in the court of our CREATOR & SUSTAINER on the Day of Judgement.
And, mind you, life is not all about this cycle of events:
So, it is our humble request to you to carry out a sincere research witout involving any prejudice whatsoever. It is not the place to discuss the types of prejudices which come in between a person and the truth. Yet one of the most common prejudice that dies hard is indicated in the following verse of the Glorious Qur'aan:
When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah has revealed; come to the Messenger": They say: "Enough for us are the ways we found our fathers following." what! even though their fathers were void of knowledge and guidance?[5:104]
So, dear friend, we hope you to be sincere in your search of TRUTH.
Honestly speaking, the contents of the disk are not meant for superficial look. So take your time no matter how long it be. We don't ask you to compromise with other things high in your priority chart, what we request you is to just take some time out of your leisure (at least) to ensure that the disk is properly utilized.
At any point of time, if you have a querry or you wish to give a feedback, please do contact us.
In the end, we request you to act, rather than sitting idle, and pass it on to your friends and relatives if you find it useful.
May ALLAH guide us all to the straight path...(Aameen!)
Behold! the verses of the Glorious Qur'aan that follow must appeal you. If they don't appeal you now, they will appeal your concsience after you have gone through the contents of the disk, Insha ALLAH! It doesn't matter how much time you take, but after you have finished please do come back to this section to believe it.
We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their ownselves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Qur'ân) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things?[41:53]
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding.[3:190]
There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejects false deities and believes in Allah has grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is the Hearer, the Knower.[2:256]
Say you: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."[2:136]
And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allâh's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie.[6:116]
"And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islâmic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islâm), before the torment comes upon you, then you will not be helped."[39:54]
